Meet Hercules! This beautiful tan and white handsome chunk of muscle is looking for his forever partner! Hercules is a four-year-old Pitbull mix with a confident personality. Hercules enjoys going out into play group with other dogs, and long walks outside from the shelter so he can sniff who has been around! Once he has spent some of his energy, Hercules settles down and enjoys spending quality time with you or if you have treats, he does not mind training! Hercules will be patiently waiting for you to drop by and say hello Tuesday through Sunday between 10 am and 4:30 pm - no appointment necessary! ¡Conoce a Hércules! ¡Este hermoso trozo de músculo bronceado y blanco está buscando a su compañero para siempre! Hércules es una mezcla de pitbull de cuatro años con una personalidad segura. We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
