My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

?? Meet Mukwa: The Gentle Giant Ready to Steal Your Heart! ??
Mukwa is a big boy with an even bigger heart! This lovable guy might tower over the little dogs, but he’s as sweet as they come. Mukwa has already mastered “sit” (as long as there’s a tasty snack involved!) and has a soft spot for human attention—he just wants to be as close to you as possible!
While Mukwa seemed calm around the little dogs here, we`re still learning about his compatibility with other pups. If you`re searching for a best buddy who’s big on love and even bigger on snuggles, Mukwa might just be your perfect match.
??? Mukwa’s Halloween Dream: He’s ready to find his forever family on October 31st! To meet this gentle giant, simply head to northwoodshumanesociety.org, visit the adoptable animals page, and complete the dog adoption form. Once that’s done, a friendly canine team member will reach out to set up your appointment.
Get ready for a Halloween treat—Mukwa is all heart and ready to be your most loyal companion

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

NHS works to place animals in good, loving homes. Potential families must complete a pre-adoption application. References are required and checked. There may be a 24 to 48 hour waiting period before adoption is finalized. All responsible adults in the family must be in agreement. The goal of NHS is for each adoption to be permanent.
