My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Mya, and I am ready to melt your heart! I have super soft, white fur like a polar bear, but I am anything but wild. I am very well-behaved and gentle. I would be a perfect addition to any family. I was transferred from the county shelter. I had just been surrendered by my owner after I had a litter of puppies. All of my babies have good homes, and now I need one too!

The adoption fee of $150 includes your pet’s:
• Spay/Neuter
• Annual Vaccines
• Rabies (if of age)
• Heartworm Testing
• Preventative
• Microchipping

More about this rescue

We are a humane society that was established in 1982. For quite some time we have worked without a physical facility doing neglect, cruelty investigations and follow-ups, as well as rescue and adoptions from the county shelter and directly from the community. We work with a humane society in New Hampshire and transport dogs there several times per year in addition to doing local adoptions. We have just finished building a small shelter/spay neuter clinic. We are located in an area that has a high-kill county shelter and believe that the only long term solution is to promote spaying and neutering in every way possible.
