My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Rina! I'm just a puppy, but I'm already full of love and loyalty. I'm mellow and friendly, always ready to make new friends. I'm also pretty funny and playful, if I do say so myself. I can turn anything into a game! I'm smart too, quick to learn new tricks and commands. My loyalty? Unmatched. I'll stick by your side through thick and thin. I'm not just looking for an owner, I'm looking for a forever friend. If you're ready for a life filled with play, laughter, and unwavering companionship, then I'm the pup for you!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
