My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Adry. I may be young, but I've got an old soul. I'm mellow and friendly, always ready to lend a listening ear. I'm funny too, with a knack for making folks laugh with my playful antics. I'm smart, so teach me a trick and I'll pick it up in no time. And loyal? You bet! I'll stick by your side through thick and thin. I'm a perfect companion for those quiet evenings at home or fun-filled afternoons in the park. Adopt me and I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and loyalty.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
