Hello, I'm Charley!

I'm full of energy and love to play. I'm a little shy, but don't let that fool you, I have a big heart and I'm eager to share it with you! My favorite part of the day is treat time. Oh, how I love treats! But, what I really dream of is a home. A place where I can play, be loved, and enjoy my treats in peace. I promise to be the sweetest, most playful companion. Won't you consider making me part of your family?

Charley is a female 11 week old (born August 5/24) DMH dilute tortoiseshell. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be part of MAR's Foster-to-Adopt program until she is spayed. Charley has been raised in a home with other cats and kids so would do well with either. Dogs will take a bit of time to acclimate to :)

Step 3: Landlord Check
Step 4: Vet Check
Step 5: Home Visit
Step 6: Adoption!

As we are a rescue group, we don't have a shelter, just loving foster homes throughout Muskoka. Please contact us to make an appointment to see an animal.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
