My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tilly is a senior gal who loves life! She was rescued from euthanasia in the riverside shelter and has thrived in her foster home. She loves everyone and is so well behaved. She fits right in with other dogs and sleeps in her bed or crate but also loves a good cuddle. She’s only 6.5 pounds and HEALTHY. Senior dogs are so grateful and easy and Tilly embodies what a true companion is.

More about this rescue

Our rescue is home based and foster based. We have an amazing family of fosters for our dogs who treat these dogs as their own but we need more now. Our dogs can only thrive in a home environment and we have more dogs than fosters right now, please email if you are able to foster one of our dogs that you might see on our site or one in the future. Fostering not only saves dog's lives and helps rescue save another dog but also you as the foster are providing a loving "home" environment while getting the companionship of a loving dog. All of our dogs are people friendly and most are house and crate trained, some are trained in basic commands and all are safe and healthy.
We take pride in all of our dogs and ensure they are a proper fit for the adopter prior to placement.
We are run on donations to our rescue and always need help to keep the dogs vetted, healthy, happy and in safe keeping, whatever it takes for the dogs, we do.
If you are interested in volunteering your time or making a donation to our rescue please email us and tell us what you're interested in doing. We welcome everyone!
