I’m Wallace. I’m a 1 year old male that weighs 32 pounds. I came in with my brother, Gromit. The shelter suspects we were dumped. We were found as strays in poor condition, and underweight. An officer found us and made sure we were safe and I’m so grateful. I met children at the shelter and I did really well with them. I have played with six other dogs here and I have had no issues with any. I am learning that resources are still available to me, and even though I have showed no resource guarding or possession of food, the shelter recommends feeding me separately from other animals. The staff was afraid that I wouldn’t come out of my shell here and that my brother and I wouldn’t thrive, but we ended up doing great! The shelter volunteers and staff have helped socialize us so well. We are becoming the happiest of boys, and we are up for adoption now. I would love to find my forever home and finally find a place that deserves me. You can tell in my short year of life that I have been through some things, and I’m ready to start my new chapter. I am working on potty training and have a medium energy level. I love dog beds and bark box toys.
