My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valentino is a young, happy dude. We don’t really know what happened but he had a serious burn on one side of his body and the people that had him left it untreated for 2 weeks before reaching out for help. I know, insane.
Anyway, he ended up at Hope For Paws who rushed him to a vet and he was there for several weeks while being treated and healing.
He is now here with us and he is such a clown! Just so happy about life! He is GREAT with other animals and people (but he might be too much for small children).

He’s on the smaller side for his breed.

The application is the first step to see if you are potentially the right match for the animal of interest.This is not a guarantee/commitment of adoption. Our adoption process involves a home check, adoption contract & adoption fee of $400-600 for dogs depending on breed/age and $125 for cats. Adoption fees are non-refundable. Fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, de-wormer & microchip.

LA Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue.

Established in late 2010, LAAR has helped save thousands of lives.

We currently care for over 200 domestic and farm animals between our rescue ranch and foster network. Each year hundreds of homeless and abandoned animals receive health care and are re-homed through LAAR. We are a small grassroots no-kill animal rescue that runs solely on donations and volunteers.
