Well-behaved and gentle, he rarely barks, and his loving nature has already won over the neighborhood kids, who come by to shower him with love and attention. Apollo would make a wonderful companion for anyone seeking unconditional love and joy in their life.

Apollo has shown he's a loyal boy! While he's not fully trained yet, he responds well to simple commands like "stay" and "no," and we're working on mastering leash walking together.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Tuesday - Saturday:10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
