Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Tonka aka Duke is a gentle soul. He was abandoned at a quarry in San Bernardino many months ago and was living in harsh conditions begging for food. Thankfully a past adopter’s family member worked there and reached out to us. We immediately notified Hope For Paws since they are very experienced with trapping stray/fearful dogs.
He was in bad shape. Sunburn blisters on his nose, a hole in his lip from an infected injury, extremely underweight and untrusting.
All that is behind him now. He’s so gentle and kind with other dogs and people that give him a little time and space. He is obsessed with his foster dad and will sit peacefully by his chair. This guy deserves to live a EASY life with all of the comfort and love!
Foster is working on house training. He’s doing great, obviously this guy was never in a house so it’s all new for him and he is so appreciative.
He has been non-reactive to cats but he has not directly interacted with them.
