Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thank you for your interest in Star. The volunteer who is bringing Star has the information on Star's background. Star is from a Connecticut pound and may require additional vetting before going home.
APPLICATION FORM: http://godogdays.org/find-my-new-best-friend.htm (Copy and paste to browser.)
If you would like to begin the application process, please fill in the form at the link above and we will review your information, call your personal and well as vet references. PLEASE Fill in the application if you're interested in adoption, this will save you time at the event. A letter from your vet on their letterhead will also be very helpful if they won't be open for us to call as a reference. If you are renting, please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property. Dog Days will be conducting interviews of prospective adopters. As a policy, Dog Days will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event by 11:00am Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend which is October 26&27. PLEASE NOTE THAT DOGS ARE GIVEN TO THE BEST HOME, NOT FIRST IN LINE.

We hope you will understand the careful scrutiny of potential adopters is not only for the safety and well-being of the dog but also for a positive experience for your household. Thank you for saving the life of a shelter dog through adoption; you are truly a hero.
Here is more info on Star: Star is approximately 4yrs old. Super friendly well behaved and LOVES people. She did live with another dog who was smaller than her. Meet and greets are required with other dogs. She has been around children of all ages and is fantastic.
Each dog and puppy has been seen by a Connecticut veterinarian who will also be on site to answer any questions you may have. We'll have professional groomers on site to give your new pal a bath before you take them home (no charge) and our adoption bags will give you information and samples for use at home.
