You know the saying, "when God made you, He broke the mold"?? I cannot imagine there are ANY other COOLER dogs markings than mine!! And Heterochromia??? WOWSER!!!
I am stunning. My mom and I were living ON THE STREETS :( My mom's name is Arika, she is a GORGEOUS girl with the black/white markings of a Pointer or a Spaniel and the size of a little horse :D just kidding! She is about 70# however.
I will be more petite, likely in the 50# range full grown. And I have the Catahoula markings AND Red Heeler markings so who KNOWS which my dad was... but both breeders are "working" dogs- so you now know that I am uber smart, uber loving and UBER playful.
I will do best in a home with another active and playful dog, my foster siblings (Gavin and Piglet) keep me pretty played out. I love everyone I meet and I show no signs of having been living on the streets. I am just as comfortable on your couch as I am laying around in the dirt in the yard.
So get your helmets on and get ready to ADOPT!!! I am waiting!!!

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
