My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~ I am a lot of fun to watch but I don't love being handled. I need a family who is happy to enjoy my antics from afar.

How cute is this hamster? These adorable little critters are a petite ball of fun. Hamsters tend to be more active at night, so be prepared to listen to their hamster wheel spinning while you sleep. They prefer to live alone and soak up all the attention you have to give. Perhaps one of their most endearing traits is their love of burrowing and hoarding food! Hamsters can store food in their cheek pouches to bring it into a burrow and store for later, so take care not to overfeed (as they may have a food storage hidden elsewhere in their enclosure). Hamsters are best housed in a large tank with bedding suitable for digging and burrowing. With proper care, hamsters can live about 2-3 years.
