My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Adelina and I looking for a new home. I was rescued by a kind Humane Deputy who found me and two other dogs in our owner's yard. I was in a wire crate with another dog about my same size. It was really tight in there with so little space. But to make things worse we were in the blazing sun with no shade, or food, or water! I was so glad to get out of that crate and hop into an air-conditioned truck and ride away from my yard! The shelter has taken great care of all of us and we are now available for adoption! I am about a year old. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. This sweet terrier mix gets along great with other dogs and loves people! Please make an appointment to meet Adelina!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
