(DOB 05/11/2023) A cuddle bug if there ever was one - meet Gail! This active girl loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s on a long walk with lots of new smells, playing with her favorite toys, or simply being by your side. She’s always eager to show affection and will start each day with a hug and happily fall asleep beside you at the end of the day.
Gail gets excited around kids but her zoomies might be better suited for older children. She can be a little shy with strangers at first, but once she knows you’re a friend (and a belly rub is involved), she’ll warm up quickly and show off her best smile.
She enjoys playing with her doggie friends and would be happy with or without a dog sibling in her new home. Gail is smart, active, and ready to learn more. With some continued training on the leash and a good balance of physical and mental stimulation, she’ll thrive. Gail will skip a home with kitties as she is way too interested in them and would pester them to no end.
A 6-foot fenced yard would be a dream for Gail, where she could run, play, and then relax in the sun or shade. One thing to note: she’s a bit of an escape artist, so she’ll need a watchful eye around doors and gates. Gail would be best suited for a home and not apartment life; she enjoys "chatting" with you at times and might disturb the neighbors.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion, Gail is ready to be your new best friend!
As part of Gail’s $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Gail, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
