(DOB 05/11/2023) If active describes you and your lifestyle, let us introduce you to an equally fun, high-energy, adventure pup who is ready for her forever family! Whether it's a long walk, a new trick, or playing with a doggie friend, she loves to burn some energy and be hanging out with her person. She is ready to find a person who'd love to have a partner to "get out and do".
If you have a whole lot of affection to share, Gail is ready to be loved and fawned over. She expects a hug first thing in the morning, and would love nothing more than to happily fall asleep with you on the couch at the end of the day. She gets very excited around kids, but her zoomies would do best with older children around. She a little shy at first with strangers but warms up as quickly as the afternoon sun. She becomes everyones bestie and has a smile that beams brightly!
She has absolutely loved playing with her new doggie sister and would be happy with or without a dog sibling in her new home. Gail is ready to learn and grow, and she would benefit from some additional training on the leash and some new tricks. She would do best with someone who can give her the attention and training that she needs. She is smart and not only wants to burn her physical energy but her mental energy, too.
A 6 foot fenced yard would be a dream, and Gail would enjoy playing in it with a furry friend, with her people, with toys, and then lounging in the sun spot or cooling off in the shade. She can be quick and the phrase "escape artist" could be used to describe her if you aren't paying attention to doors, gates, etc.
If you're looking for a smart, sweet, and oh so lovable companion, then Gail is your girl!
As part of Gail’s $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Gail, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
