Howdy folks, I am a 1-year-old, 52 lb male Dalmatian named Farnsworth (aka Favi) and not only am I a looker, but I’m also a keeper. Unfortunately, things didn't start out that way for me… long story short… My owner bought me as a puppy in San Antonio Texas, was then evicted from her home, dropped me over the fence into her elderly father’s backyard without notice, and left town. Because Grandpa is unable to care for me, he surrendered me to 4 Little Paws Rescue and now I’m living in a foster home and receiving all the love and care I had always deserved and desired. I’m now fully vaccinated, neutered, chipped, have doggy friends to play with, lots of toys and it turns out I am the nicest boy.
I’m happy and friendly with everyone, a little shy just at first, but I’m great with all humans, dogs, kitty cats, and my foster mom says I’m a pleaser. Meaning, that I look to her for approval, aiming to please, like when we go for a walk, I’m making eye contact and asking her if I’m doing a good job, and she tells me I am. I’m a good eater, love my kibble, love treats, and I am food-motivated for easy training. I also love doggy toys, plush toys, chew toys, and chasing tennis balls as we play in the yard. I am affectionate, love pets, tummy scratches, kisses, and words of affirmation since I obviously understand everything I’m told, LOL. I’m well-behaved, great with a routine, walk well on a leash, rarely bark, crate-trained, and doing wonderful with housebreaking lessons since nobody ever taught me before. My life has certainly improved, but just one more thing could make it even better… and this is where you come in… I’m looking for a forever home that lasts forever! I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
