My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ears up or ears down, any way you slice it, Ivy is adorable! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 31 pounds.

Ivy is a gorgeous girl with a sweet and gentle temperament. She is so affectionate and well-mannered, although she can be a little timid with new people, she warms up quickly and melts their hearts with her sweet kisses. She loves to be close and just leans in for love and attention. Ivy has the cutest speckles to go along with the most darling ears, who can resist that! Ivy would benefit from an adopter who can provide her with confidence and leadership, as she is still young and learning about the world. She will need a home where any children are respectful and at least 4 years old due to her shy nature. Ivy is a truly wonderful pup with so much love to give and she is eager to find a forever home where she can be the light of her adopter's life.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Ivy would love to meet them. She has an “all in” play style but she molds her play to accommodate the lead from other dogs, what a good girl. She may benefit from being in a home with another well socialized dog, it could really help build her confidence.

If you are interested in Ivy and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
