Hi there! My name is Sebastiana, and I’m a bunny with a story to tell. I came into rescue last May after a kind neighbor discovered me roaming outside her home. I was a bit lost and scared, but thankfully since then I’ve had a cozy, safe space filled with all the delicious food I could wish for.
Speaking of food, I absolutely love my meals! My favorite greens include: green and red leaf lettuce, arugula, romaine, and cilantro. I’m also a fan of pellets, berries, radicchio, the occasional carrot, parsley, basil, and even banana! Mealtime is a highlight of my day - I can jump so high with excitement when I see my food coming!
I’m not a fan of being touched just yet, but I’m working on it every day! I enjoy spending time with trusted people on my own terms. When new people let me approach them at my own pace, I might sniff or even nibble a finger to say hello, but I still need my space to feel comfortable.
I have a wild side and a very independent streak. I probably would do best in a loving, patient home as the only pet. My foster mom has a friendly dog, but even though she assures me he just wants to be friends, I see him as a prey animal. I have not meet any cats. I’m a bit territorial, especially with the other bunnies in the house as I like to mark my space. Other than that, my litter box habits are very good. I’m hearing impaired, so I may not always hear you coming, but my other senses are always alert to the world around me.
One of my favorite things is spending time outdoors. My foster mom often opens the door near my xpen so I can take in the sights and sounds outside.
I’m looking for a family that understands my reservations and will be patient while I get to know them. If you’re someone who appreciates a bunny with a gentle spirit and a hint of wildness, I might just be the perfect companion for you!

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
