Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kingston is a six year old male Pitbull mix. He is a beautiful grey & while color, he weighs 69 pounds. He is very fun loving and has moderately high energy (not crazy high like some pitbulls but high enough where he needs an active owner).
He is housebroken and knows basic commands: sit, stay, down. He walks well on a leash but will need a refresher on pulling.
He loves people and loves to cuddle and just be with his humans. He thrives on human interaction. He was raised with a cat that he got along well with. He is untested with other dogs. He is great with people but is untested with small children. He will sometimes greet you by body checking you - he is a very muscular 69 pounds so you must use caution with children and elderly adults.
Kingston loves car rides. He loves walking in the park, chasing the ball and just being a dog ! Kingston is fearless - he will enthusiastically go into a new situation, greet new people, jump into strange, cars - he shows no fear, shyness or hesitation.
He loves his baths and sits there patiently soaking up all of the water and love.
Kingston also spent two weeks at K-9 University in Plano learning/reinforcing basic behavioral training. He has lifetime refresher classes at K-9 University.
Kingston is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
