My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chubs was a hot mess when he came into us. His owner had let him wander outside where he had hurt his back. Once we got him to the vet good news was little lazer therapy and steroids his back would be good as new. Bad news was he was heartworm positive and had severe dental disease from neglect. After several months Chubs is now heartworm free, had a complete dental, neutered, utd on vaccines, and microchipped. He’s cost us a pretty penny but we think he’s totally worth it. Chubs is a loving little guy who likes to be in your lap. He is pad trained and we are working on going outside to potty. He’s still playful. If you think Chubs would be the perfect addition to your family please request an application. His adoption is $250 to an approved indoor home.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue on a large mission. We are located in a rural low income area of Tennessee. We are foster based and have up to 40 dogs divided between three foster homes. We are working moms first and rescuers second. We work hard in our area to rescue homeless dogs and find them forever homes. We also work to help spay/neuter dogs in our area. Only way to correct the homeless dog situation is to spay and neuter. We also work with northern rescues to save more lives.
