My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin Pie is the happiest, friendliest, goofiest, sweetest lil' dude ever to scamper into your life. Nothing can bring this guy down! One look at his floppy ears and silly smile will change your whole day for the better.

He loves high-energy play sessions with his tennis/squeaky balls (there's nothing he wouldn't do for a ball), 1-2mile walks/jogs, "tanning in the back yard, wrestling with his foster siblings (a Golden Retriever and German shepherd), and hardcore snuggles afterwards. He is 100% a lap dog-if you're sitting in bed or on the couch, he won't be happy unless he's laying right beside you resting his head on your legs.

He knows how to sit, come when his name is called, and "get his ball. He's house trained. He's well-behaved in his crate, in the bath, at the vet, and in the car (though he can get a little carsick sometimes so lay some towels), and he does well on a leash.

He is excellent with children, other dogs, and public spaces/crowds-this is absolutely a dog you can take out with you, just expect everyone to notice his adorable energy and come up asking for pets!

He shows no interest in his foster parents' parrots, and has never behaved aggressively (towards anyone or anything), nor attempted to bite.

He's an excellent dog for first-time and experienced owners alike, and would be happy in a home full of children/other animals, or as a companion for someone living on their own-as long as he gets plenty of love and play time!
