My name is Ivy!

Ivy is an amazing protector. Ideally she is a one person dog. She would do amazing with a single lady needing a guard dog. She is scared of men and it does take her some time to warm up to them. She has had some training and knows several commands. She is housebroken. I do recommend a fenced in yard for her.

She does not do well with young children or other female dogs which is why with a broken heart I am looking for a new home for her.

She was adopted from a shelter last summer. She was very malnourished and scared. She is still scared of people coming into our home and she does bark at them.

She will be very loyal to someone who gives her time. We have a dog door so she goes in and out on her own. When we first got her she was scared to go outside by herself. She now does fine.

Please give Ivy a chance. She deserves to go to a loving home with no small children and no female dogs.
