Hi! My name is Parsley and I am available for adoption.
I was brought in by a good samaritan on October 19, 2024. They had me for two weeks and were planning on keeping me, but state that I didn`t do well with young children since I am so fearful.
I weigh 13 lbs and am considered a `small breed` dog.
Although my past is unknown, it is clear that I may not have been socialized much because I do not know how to walk on leash. My caregivers have been carrying me around. Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children (fast movements and loud noises scare me).
I am looking for a patient family who is willing to give me all the time I need to warm up and trust people.
I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
