My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kobe, an adult dog with a heart full of love. His sweet nature is evident in his gentle tail wags and his playful spirit shines through in his love for toys and games. Despite his playful demeanor, Kobe is also independent, content with his own company when needed. He is a dog with a strong personality, best suited for an experienced owner who can appreciate his unique blend of playfulness and independence. Kobe is not just a pet, he`s a companion, a friend, a source of unconditional love and joy. He is eager to share his love with a family who can provide him with the same. His adoption would not just mean a home for him, but a lifetime of loyalty, love, and happiness for his new family.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
