My name is Chase!

Chase is 3/4 chocolate lab, and 1/4 beagle.
He is housetrained and knows many commands. He is very food motivated!
He is a sweet dog but does have fear of strangers (short lived) He warms up quickly. Then he gives all the kisses! He can show fear aggression if strange dogs approach him on leash. I manage this by giving him plenty of space on walks where other dogs are present.
He attended dog daycare and he loved our other dog who passed away, so he will get along when introduced properly.
He is an ideal dog for someone fairly active, with room to roam. He loves daily walks, chasing balls, and loves balloons! He is also a rare dog who loves the 4th of July! He is very alert and aware. I feel so safe having him around.
He does have prominent hound characteristics, he is scent oriented and loves to hunt things.
He is very protective and vocal at times. He's not aggressive but he likes to keep people at a distance until he gets used to them.
