Introducing Rosie!
Female DOB: Oct 20,2022
Rosie was rescued from a hard life on the streets of Toronto when we received a call about a cat that was living on their front porch and begging for food. Over time they were able to pet her, once they gained her trust. Rosie was rescued just in time as at her spay appointment it was discovered that she had Pyometra. (Pyometra is a bacterial infection of the cat's uterus. It's a potentially fatal infection that requires urgent medical treatment. The uterus of cats who have pyometra is filled with pus.) Rosie was very fortunate to be rescued when she was as the vet stated any longer and she would probably not have survived.
Rosie is an adorable classic tabby with patches of orange on her side and tummy, with huge round gorgeous amber eyes and the sweetest of purrsonalities. A charming conversationalist with a heart of gold and gentle nature. Despite her shyness when first getting to know people she will demand attention in the way of vocalizing her need to pet and will gracefully plant herself right beside you on the floor. Should you not respond and get up go some where else she will happily follow you making sure her voice is heard.
Rosie would do best in a calm adult home with no other animals. She will make the purrfect companion providing comfort and with a person who wants to shower her with the love and attention she deserves.
If you want to give Rosie the furever home she has yet to know, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.
