About Kyle
Kyle is a small dog with a BIG personality! He came to TCPR from a local animal control where he was very matted and scared. He was basically a statue for about a day when he first came home. But once he realized we had yummy treats, soft blankets, and laps that he can curl up in he became a totally different dog! Kyle can typically be found following around his humans, chewing on his dog toys, or curled up next to you. He is incredibly affectionate and has perfected his ability to find space for him to lay on you no matter the circumstances. No room on your lap? He loves to lay on your legs! Legs are occupied too? He's now a shoulder dog! He's both adorable and impressive to see where he curls up! He is so excited to see us anytime we are away from him and turns into an energizer bunny because he can't control his excitement! Outside of the occasional energy spurts, he typically goes with the flow.
Kyle enjoys our dogs and is curious, but respectful of our cats and chickens. He's also really good with our young kids! Kyle is very human focused but he will play chase or tug with our other dogs every once in a while! Potty training is going okay. His accidents have definitely decreased as we've built a routine. But he's a small dog with a small bladder so we're learning that he needs to go out more than our larger dogs do. He's good about keeping his kennel clean while he's in there though! He isn't terribly interested in going into his crate on his own. But once he's in there, he's calm and quiet. If he hears you walking around, he will whine a little but does quiet down (unless he REALLY has to go potty!).
The ideal home for Kyle would be with a family that wants a cuddly, spunky dog and can help him learn new things as he grows up to become the best pup he can be! You will need patience with him as he adjusts and continues his potty training. But he promises to shower you with unconditional love, endless snuggles, and the occasional face lick!
Kyle is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
