My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby Woo is a sweet and affectionate lover girl who adores being close to her people! Ruby greets everyone with a happy, wiggly body and a big smile, often giving her besties a little hug by hopping up with her paws. She loves affection, staying close and sitting right by your side. Ruby is very gentle and taking treats softly.

Though Ruby isn't too interested in play just yet, she's happy simply being near her people, soaking up all the love and attention. She would make a wonderful, loving pup for someone looking for a snuggly, loyal friend.

Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Ruby Woo at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering her.

Behavior notes:
Per Volunteer 11/10/24:
Ruby Woo is so wiggly!! Greeted me with a very loose and wiggly body- allowed leashing easily and only pulls minimally on leash. The cutest wiggliest lady!! She let us put a bandana on her for the photoshoot. She loves pets and doesn't sit still- she just wiggles lol. Went back in no issue, easy and sweet lady!

Per Staff 10/26/24:

HANDLING:
Ruby Woo came into the eval room with a wagging tail and wiggling body. She greeted the handlers with a smile and hopped up with her arms to hug the handler. She loves affection and will sit next to you. She is a lover girl that likes to be in your space and doesn't need to bother you. She allowed all handling and took treats very gently.

PLAY
Minimal interest

TOYS:
Minimal Interest

10/24/24 staff noted: Went to take Ruby Woo out for her eval but she was recovering from surgery! She wagged when she heard me enter the room, and the medical staff told what a sweetheart she is! She has been nothing but sweet for all medical procedures, and loves to get attention. She wagged her tail when I pet her, even though she was too tired to lift her head. Ruby Woo seems like a very affectionate, sweet girl!
