Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dee Dee, a senior dog with a heart full of love. She`s a calm and gentle soul, preferring quiet moments of companionship to boisterous play. Her sweet nature shines through in every wag of her tail and soft nuzzle. Dee Dee`s favorite pastimes include leisurely strolls and cozying up for a good book or movie. She`s a fantastic listener and a steady companion, always there to offer silent comfort and unconditional love. Despite her age, Dee Dee has a lot of love to give. Adopting Dee Dee means gaining a loyal friend who will cherish every moment spent with you. Her serene disposition makes her the perfect addition to any home seeking a peaceful, loving companion.

More about this shelter
We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
