Gabreilla was found in a crate on the side of the road with her 3 friends, heavily matted, extremely dirty and hungry. After a thorough examination from our veterinarian, she was shaved and bathed. In her foster home, she is very loving, doesn't like to be alone and is very excited to see her humans when they arrive home from work. She is crate trained and sleeps there at night, and when left alone.
She prefers to be touching her humans and will follow them around until there is an available lap to cuddle on. She is potty trained, loves her meals, walks well on leash and is good in the car. She is fostered with another dog and cats and made friends with them quickly. Like her siblings, she would be best in a home that someone is home the majority of the time, and can take the time to help her become more confident.
She is up to date on her vaccines, is heartworm negative, has been flea and tick treated, and is microchipped, and is booked for her spay surgery at the end of November.
Her adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt her can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption, and scroll to the bottom of the page.
All applications are reviewed, and if we feel you might be a good fit for her, you will be contacted to arrange a home visit as well as for permission to speak with your vet. Repeated phone calls and emails with not advance your application. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue and there is no opportunity to meet her before an application has been approved.
We thankyou for respecting these guidelines.
