My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How would you like to have a tiny bobcat living in your home? Elmer, who is 5.5-years-old, looks like one, but he is a very friendly and outgoing little guy once he gets comfy in his new environment. He was born with a stubby tail that wiggles and waggles when he is happy. It is the cutest thing!

Elmer will even put his feet on your leg like a dog asking for pets. Not to worry, he cannot scratch you while he does this because his previous owner (who passed away) had him declawed. Elmer is a gem and just as adorable as he can be!

Elmer is a short hair, brown tabby with white who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is neutered and is microchipped.

Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time.

If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the 'More About Us Button' and then click on the 'Adoption Application' button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below:

From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/

A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form.

Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. If you live in the Prescott AZ area please go to our website unitedanimalfriends.org and learn more about fostering!
