Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Porom, a stunning 10-month-old girl with beautiful green eyes that will mesmerize you! Porom and her sister, Palum, were strays before being taken into a loving foster home. While Porom is a bit more reserved than her sister, she’s just as sweet and affectionate. She absolutely loves a cozy lap to sit on, and if you’re looking for a quiet companion to share your downtime with, Porom is your girl.
One of her endearing traits is her chatty personality—she’s not shy about having little conversations with her humans, especially when it’s time for pets or cuddles. Her gentle, easygoing nature makes her adaptable to different types of environments, so her foster parents believe she’d fit in well whether you live in a quiet household or a bustling one.
Though she may take a little time to fully come out of her shell, once she does, Porom will reward you with purrs, companionship, and her calm presence. She’s a perfect match for someone seeking a loving and laid-back feline friend who appreciates both quiet moments and soft chats.
If you’re ready to welcome a lap-loving, sweet, and easygoing companion into your life, Porom is waiting to meet you and find her forever home.
Porom is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
