This heart-stealer is named Izzy! At first, Izzy might be a bit shy, taking her time to get comfortable in new surroundings, but don’t let that fool you—once she warms up, you’ll see just how joyful and loving she truly is. With a little patience and plenty of cozy spots, she’ll be your loyal shadow, following you around with soft purrs and gentle affection.
Izzy is still a youngster, so she’s full of curiosity and playfulness. She loves to explore her environment, whether that means investigating every nook and cranny or chasing after her favorite toy. Her playful antics will definitely keep you entertained and put a smile on your face. Feather wands? Crinkly toys? Bring it on!
When she’s done with her playful adventures, Izzy adores being spoiled with some extra loving pets and cozy snuggle time. She’ll happily curl up next to you, purring contentedly as you shower her with affection. Once Izzy feels safe and loved, she’ll fill your life with warmth, companionship, and purrs of gratitude.
If you’re looking for a gentle, curious companion who’ll grow into your best friend, Izzy is the perfect match. She’s ready to find her forever home where she can share her sweet, playful spirit with someone who’ll appreciate her for the lovable little soul she is!
Izzy is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
