My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jack: Your Charming, Fluffy House Panther!

Jack is a handsome young black cat with a soft, medium-length coat and a heart full of love. This friendly boy is looking for his forever home, and he’s ready to bring plenty of fun and affection with him!

He gets along well with other cats and enjoys their company, making him a great addition to a multi-cat home. Jack has also been exposed to dogs in his foster home, so with proper introductions, he could settle in well with a calm canine companion.

Playful and curious, he loves chasing toys and exploring new spaces, but he also knows how to settle down for some snuggles and quality time with his humans. His fluffy coat is perfect for petting, and he’s always happy to receive some extra attention.

If you’re looking for a sweet, medium-haired house panther who’s good with other pets, Jack is ready to fill your home with love and purrs. Come meet him today and see how special he is!

Jack is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
