Evie, short for Everest, joined us on October 23, 2024, and has quickly captured our hearts. She’s a stunning Texas Heeler—a mix of Australian Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog—known for their distinctive blue-tinged coats, high intelligence, and strong work ethic.

Evie is up-to-date on her vaccinations and, though she tested positive for Lyme disease, she’s been successfully treated and is healthy. Her gentle, sensitive nature is evident as she adjusts to the shelter environment, and she’s more than ready to find a forever home where she can thrive.

This beautiful girl would be happiest with a leader who understands her breed and can help her channel her intelligence and energy productively. Evie is eager for a home where she can bond, learn, and grow in a loving environment.

Additional adoption info

Call 740-934-2693 to make an appointment to visit pets at our shelter! All pets are spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots before leaving our facility. You must fill out an adoption form and be approved. We will need to see a driver license or valid id card with your address.

$150.00 adoption fee for dogs/puppies. All dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and rabies shots, wormed, heartworm and lyme disease tested.

$50.00 adoption fee for cats. All cats are up to date on shots, have been spayed and neutered, and feline leukemia tested.
