Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Saddleback is a male puppy born August 3, 2024. Wisdom Panel DNA showed 77% Australian Cattle
Dog, single-digit% Mini-American Shepherd, Border Collie, Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd,
trace% Collie. At the time of the photos, Oct. 13, 2024, Saddleback weighed 15 pounds.
His nickname comes from a dark pattern on his otherwise light-colored coat. Thoughtful and reserved,
Saddleback tends to observe scenes unfolding in front of him before jumping in. Once he buys into the
situation, however, he dives in with all paws and enjoys the moment. Because he’s not as assertive, he
appreciates being noticed and cuddled. More attributes will surface as he gets older because there’s a
lot going on in his little cow dog mind, but it appears he may always be more gentle and easygoing
than the typical ACD.
Saddleback’s adoption fee is $300 and an additional deposit of $200 will be refunded upon proof of
neuter, which is a requirement when Saddleback is between the ages of 6 and 12 months.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Saddleback, please complete an adoption applicaiton located here: https://idawg.org/application.html
