Vinny is a very cuddly little guy. He will snuggle right in with you on the couch or in bed. He'll even jump up into your lap as soon as you are sitting down. He LOVES people!
He loves to play fight with his sister Luna, and his foster family, but is very gentle. He really doesn't enjoy being picked up and held though. He is a voracious eater and loves to chew on sticks, blankets, toys, and his bed. He needs lots of redirection and verbal cues to stop chewing on those things. He is very food motivated and learns new tasks quickly. He will bark at other dogs in neighbouring yards or on walks. His foster family is working on using treats to distract/reward him for proper behaviour.
He is curious, cuddly and cute and you will fall in love with him as he follows you all around the house!
He is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, is heartworm negative, has been flea and tick treated, and is microchipped.
His adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt him can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption and scroll to the bottom of the page.
All applications are reviewed, and if we feel you might be a good fit for him, you will be contacted to arrange a home visit as well as for permission to speak with your vet. Repeated phone calls and emails with not advance your application. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue and there is no opportunity to meet him before an application has been approved.
We thankyou for respecting these guidelines
