Hi there! I'm Solstice and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! I recently made the journey from the Pagosa Springs shelter, and I'm so excited to start my new adventure with you. I'm a playful little guy who loves to explore and make new friends. I love to cuddle up in someone's lap and get the sweet head pets. I'm still learning the ropes, but I'm eager to soak up all the love and training you can give me. I promise to fill your days with laughter and joy. We have you fill out an application on-site. We will review then move forward, most likely the same day.

Next, we get the fee paid, go over all their information, then send you home! We offer continual follow-up support as well.

The Routt County Humane Society, Inc., (RCHS) is a 501(c)3 organization, established in 1985 to serve the welfare of animals in Routt County, Colorado. Since its inception, RCHS has worked in partnership with the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter (SSAS), a facility of City of Steamboat Springs to provide veterinary care for shelter animals as well as spay/neuter to reduce future unwanted pet population. We have also become a source of assistance for low-income family pets.
