My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

â€‹ Dakota Jean is our (slightly chubby but otherwise very healthy) 11 year old calico. She loves food and is a sucker for a yummy treat. Dakota Jean was very attached to the only home she ever knew, but has proven to be remarkably resilient with all of the changes in her life. She may hide for a few days in her new home, but once she realizes she is safe, her goofy, sweet personality comes out. She LOVES to play and sleep on the bed with you. Her first mom used to let her out into the garden, so Dakota Jean can be a bit of an escape artist. It's important to be careful with that (even though you will likely just find her sunning in the yard.) She and her sister Astro are truly lovely cats- with great personalities and impeccable manners (they use the litter box, no scratching furniture, etc) Dakota Jean is an adorable goofball when she's in play mode and is truly the best blend of playful and cuddly.

Adoptions begin on a foster/ trial basis until you and the pet are comfortable with the arrangement.
