Our adoption fees are:
$300 for puppies under 6 months
$225 for dogs over 6 months
$90 for kittens under 6 months
$60 for cats over 6 months
$25 Barn cats
Some animals may have a different adoption fee due to part of the fee being sponsored or because it is a lowered fee to try and move the animal.

The Highland County Humane Society is located 2 1/2 miles east of Hillsboro, OH on St. Rt. 124. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter which provides a safe haven for dogs and cats while they transition from their past lives to their future, forever homes.
