My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Summer Rose is a gentle, affectionate girl with a warm and loving personality. She likes to take her time and leisurely explore her surroundings before joining her handler for pets and attention. Once she's ready though, she's all in! She even hopped onto a bench, pawed for attention, and eventually made her way into her handler's lap, leaning in for cuddles.

Behavior Notes:
Per volunteer 11/9: Summer Rose- Oh. my. goodness. She is an absolute angel. any family will be LUCKY to have this sweet girl in their lives. she is gentle, happy, easy going, walks amazingly on a leash, likes to play, LOVES to snuggle. She spend a majority of the time rubbed up against me snuggling, and then eventually totally belly up and falling asleep in my lap. She loves to be pet and will politely ask for more pets if you stop lol. She sat perfectly when asked to, and sat when it was time to have the leash put on. Absolutely zero issues going in or out of her kennel. She is foster eligible too. I really hope someone can open their home for her soon so she can continue getting snuggles and pets and no more kennel! Please come meet Summer Rose.

Per day trip 11/9: I had the privilege of taking Summer Rose out for a few hours today. She is the absolute sweetest girl, wants to cuddle and loves attention. She was great on the leash. Loved her walks. I had her at a park and walking downtown Philly. She loved people, seemed like she wanted to go to each person we passed. She did not bark at other dogs while we were walking. Honestly, she never barked at all. She was great with my children too, ages 14 and 12. She did get sick in the car but no biggie, I cleaned it up and we were good to go. I loved my time with her. :
Per volunteer 11/4: Summer Rose was an absolute love bug! All that she wanted to do was sit next to me and get petted. If I stopped petting her she would put her paw on me to request more petting. Such a gentle and loving dog! She was easy on the leash.
