The SPCA of Niagara requires photo identification and proof of current address. All adopters are required to receive a Guest Pass prior to adoption and adopters will need to sign an adoption contract before they take their new companion home. The contract requires the adopter to provide sufficient food, water, shelter, kind treatment and veterinary care. Our adoption fees are as follows:

Kittens (2-6 months) $125
Cats (6 months- 3 years) $85
Cats (3 years and older) $25

Puppies (2-6 months) $250
Dogs (6 months - 10 years) $125
Senior (10+ years) $25
Prices may vary on small breed dogs, exotics and purebred animals.

All cats and dogs adopted through the SPCA of Niagara are microchipped, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, receive 30 days of Sheltercare Health Insurance, flea treatment as necessary and a free veterinary visit.

The SPCA of Niagara is a No-KILL animal rescue organization that provides housing, and treatment for homeless animals in Niagara County, New York. The shelter also serves as dog control for several local municipalities and a holding facility for others.

The shelter investigates animal cruelty complaints within Niagara County prosecuting when necessary, but mostly educating the public on proper and legal care for companion and farm animals.
