🐕With Dogs & Humans👨🏻 & Cats🐱
Hi my friend! I am Smile, Jindo-Shiba mix boy weighing 9kg with a beautiful white coat. You can consider me as an affectionate companion that loves both humans and dogs! Whether they are my friends or strangers, I will approach, greet politely, play, and rub myself against everyone, which applies to literally everybody! I play very well with my own kind. I like to run around freely with everyone. For humans, I even enjoy being lifted high under my belly😊 even if it is my first time meeting them. I never had a chance to play with little humans under 13 years old but I look forward to it as long as they are gentle! Cats?🐈I have never seen them before either so I cannot exactly tell you how I would react. I hope they like me though😃

🔋Walks & Outdoor Lover🥦
Let’s talk about my energy level now. I have moderate energy level, love walking, and absolutely enjoy playing outside. I have tons of experience walking and will always stay under human’s guidance. I might pull on the leash a bit because I get excited to go outside. But please bear with me as I will adjust myself under guidance. After my outdoor adventure, I like to relax quietly on my own🏠.

😋Resource Guarding & Crate-Trained🧸
I am not really a barker. I mean, what is there to bark anyway? The world is beautiful, humans are wonderful, and my friends are all nice to me. So, I cannot really find any reasons to bark! I have seen some of my canine friends barking and whimpering in their crates, but I am not like that. I can stay nice and calm inside. I would not bark even if anybody approaches me while I eat. I mean… there must be a reason why they are approaching. Well, want some of my food?! 🥘😆

💌Last Message 💕
As I mentioned, I am a happy little boy that finds everything in this world beautiful💕. I am pretty much satisfied with everything, but I know I am missing one single thing. My own family. I think this is my time to find my forever home and family where I can share my happiness and smile to everyone in household. If you think I am the perfect one, please reach out to my team!

Additional adoption info

Most of our dogs are currently in Korea. After we give approvals, we arrange the flight schedule for rescued dogs. Some of our rescued dogs are being fostered in GTA/States. Please check their locations on profiles.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

If the dog is in a foster home in North Carolina, the potential adopter will go to the foster home to do meet and greet.
Most of our dogs are in South Korea and they will fly to North Carolina if they finds a foster home or adopter, and the adopter will meet the dog at the airport.

More about this rescue

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
