My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Shea (A1933069)! I came to the shelter as a stray in mid-September, and just three days later, I gave birth to my 8 beautiful healthy puppies. At first, I was really scared and didn’t want anyone to come near me, but I’ve come a long way since then! Now, I wag my tail, wiggle my body, and I’ve even started walking on a leash. I’m still learning to trust, but I let the nice people here handle my puppies with no problem. I’m also a BIG fan of treats, which helps a lot! My eight babies are now 19 days old, and we really need a safe, loving place to stay until they’re old enough to be adopted. I’m asking for your help. Will you open your heart and home to foster me and my little ones? We promise to bring lots of love in return! We’re currently at the Bonita Department of Animal Services in southern California, just waiting for the right person to come along. Could that be you?
