Heidi is a year old, weighs 75 pounds, and is likely still growing some. She arrived as a stray so we don't know the mix, but she has a lovely personality and is easy to work with, although you need to be ready to play. She gets along well with all people. Spayed, current on shots, Lyme/heartworm tested. Fee $200. Apply at morganspot.org.

SPOT has an adoption application at morganspot.org. It asks for a vet reference and takes a day or less to be approved. We also have an adoption contract in which the adopter agrees to provide good care, not sell the pet, and return it to SPOT if there are problems.

SPOT attends Mingle With Our Mutts at the Franklin County shelter in Columbus, Ohio, every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. We host a Mutt Strutt on the Saturday after Mothers Day in May, a free event to promote spay/neuter and showcase dogs. All our pets are in foster care and we are very flexible about meeting arrangements.

Our mission is to reduce the numbers for unwanted pets in Morgan County. We rescue, foster, and adopt out dogs, cats, and horses. We provide low-cost or free spay/neuter services for pets of low-income owners and have an emergency pet food pantry for those in need.
We do out-of-state adoptions and recommend RescueRidersTransport for long trips.
