Meet Boris, the charming and adventurous Domestic Shorthair with a personality as vibrant as his striking coat. With his playful spirit and curious nature, he loves exploring every nook and cranny of his home. Boris is a master of mischief, often found perched in high places, surveying his kingdom with a regal air. When he's not busy investigating, Boris enjoys cuddling up with his humans for cozy nap sessions, purring contentedly as he soaks up all the love. His favorite toys are anything that rolls or crinkles, but nothing beats a good old-fashioned box for a spontaneous hide-and-seek game. With a heart full of affection and a playful attitude, Boris is sure to steal the hearts of everyone he meets!

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment ONLY. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via email at jcas@co.johnson.in.us or call 317-738-6090 during regular business hours. We will happily help get an application to you. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can contact you to set an appointment to meet the pet!

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
