My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What Lola wants Lola gets, or so the song says. And what this Lola wants more than anything else in the world is a Forever Home!

How can you look into her beautiful, piercing blue eyes and not want to scoop her up and take her home? Even Frank Sinatra, Old Blue Eyes himself, would be jealous of this pup's baby blues.

But if you're lucky enough to meet Lola you will quickly realize that she is more than just a pretty face. She is Einstein, but with better hair. Super smart--that's Lola! She's house trained and can shake on command, especially if there's yummy treats involved!

Whats even better? Lola has a good heart to go with her smart brain. She's affectionate and loves giving kisses and being petted. With a name like Lola, what would you expect? And yet, intelligent as she is, the word Velcro is not in Lola's vocabulary. When you need your space, Lola senses it and gives it to you.

Lola can be the perfect companion in so many ways. For example, she is fit and athletic enough to keep up with even the most tenacious of joggers. And you don't even need to spend a fortune on Nikes for her! Hiking, camping, or sailing (OK, maybe not sailing) with a family would also be Lola friendly activities.

As for other canines, Lola is happy to be an only pet, or to be around dogs her size or larger. She has to admit that she can be a bit Older Sister bossy around small dogs. A little voice in her head says, "herd them! Herd them!" and she just can't resist.

But Miss Lola has the best of intentions, and just wants to please.

Meet her and you're sure to fall in love!
