My name is Hazel!

Hi there! My name is Cielo Acosta- Wilson! I found a stray dog in the middle of a busy street in the month of August 2024: Her name is Hazel.

My husband and I have been fostering her since. We have been able to spay, give her the vaccinations needed and microchip her. She is crate trained, potty trained and people friendly. However, she is dog selective, which means that she would have to be the only dog in her home moving forward.

I have reached out to over 50 rescues and have had no success. She is the 8th dog that I find on the street. I have been able to successfully home all of them with the exception of Hazel. I have fostered for multiple rescues: Ace of Heart, Noah’s Rescue, Rescue Paws and Doberman Rescue League.

I just need help in finding the best home for this sweet girl.

I do want to mention that I think she has a lot of potential because even though she barks at other dogs, she gets along well with our dogs and fosters we have had in the house.
