My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All AHHS animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.

Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!

Introducing Cole or "Moose" as his foster family likes to call him! He's a puppy that is the perfect mix of playful and calm! He loves to snuggle up under a blanket with his people when he isn't playing his heart out. Cole has done some major confidence-building within the past few weeks and is really beginning to display his wonderful personality. He is a lover of people and animals, he has never met a stranger! He's got a shiny coat making him quite the looker. He is roughly 5 months old and weighs around 25 pounds currently. He'll likely be medium sized when grown! He's working on crate training and is already doing well on a leash. He's a potty training champ and already knows basic commands! He'd do well in just about any family, though we really feel he'd thrive in one that has another dog or two. If interested in bringing this perfect boy into your life, contact Halee today! Apply online at ahhumanesociety.org or email Halee at halee@ahhumanesociety.org with any questions!

More about this rescue

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
